CIQ: Palawan

SOS Puerto Princesa City-Palawan Base and Makati Logistics Team headed by Sr. Logistics Supervisor Mr. Mark Pamplona along with QHSE Manager Ms. Porsha Lai was able to attend the CIQ (Customs, Immigration, Quarantine) vessel boarding formalities for MV Cassandra VI at Ulugan Bay, Macarascas Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

On November 26, 2022, at 12:45pm the boat departed offshore to start the Geophysical survey activity at the 2 service contracts location of Nido petroleum Sc-54 and SC-6B. This activity is part of the CIQ boarding formalities that took place on the same day. Two (2) DOE and two (2) PCG Representative were onboard MV Cassandra VI on the entire operation.

Palawan team headed by our base Supervisor Ms. Ysa Ventura- assisted the Customs Immigration Quarantine Personnel with the continuation of the CIQ by providing transportation, vessel clearance preparation, coordination as well as the facilitation of Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) for the authorities. SOS were able to work with the DOE and PCG Personnels on the duration of the outward clearance on December 4, 2022. MV Cassandra VI left Ulugan Bay, Macarascas PPS at 1710H bound to Miri, Malaysia.
